Your Cat Is Special

ACANA benefits cats of all breeds and life stages . Just like you, your cat is unique and feeding requirements will vary with environment, age, and activity. The table below provides a starting point, to be adjusted as needed. We recommend feeding twice daily and always keeping fresh water available.

Unique compared to conventional foods, ACANA delivers more calories from protein and fat and fewer calories from carbohydrates, reducing the risk of obesity and promoting your cat’s peak health.

  ACANA features WholePrey ratios of meat, organs, and cartilage or bone that deliver nutrients in highly bioavailable forms, dramatically reducing the need to add synthetic vitamins or supplements to our foods.

• Your cat has no nutritional requirement for carbohydrates and his natural diet contains very few, if any. Carbohydrates are widely recognized as a leading cause of obesity and diabetes- yet conventional cat foods often exceed 50% carbohydrate content.
